Light Trails

I have decided to use light trails as my main focus. However, unlike most light trail photographers, i want the light trails to be a minor detail in my image. Rut Blees Luxemburg does this by subtlety using light trails in her image while having various other focal points. I want to achieve this same effect in my work.
