Step 1

I added levels to Create a brighter image.

Step 2

Adding a layer of curves reduced the amount of glare from external light and created a matt finish on the cars which I liked. It also created a contrast between the black and white on the newspaper

Step 3

I added hue/ saturation to the image. I only adjusted it slightly to where I thought the image improved.

Step 4

The hue, although adding intensity to the colours, created a glare that I resolved by reducing the exposure.

Final Outcome

I like the boldness of the newspaper which highlights the text.
